A quick monsoon in the morning didn’t stop the crowds from coming to the annual Classic Car Show and Family Fun Day in Dorchester Park held last Sunday, September 11. Skies cleared and everyone enjoyed a great day. While cars were the main attraction on the lower field, a walk through the busy food court brought people to an afternoon of family activities on the upper field. As usual, horse rides through the park’s paths were a big hit.
The entire weekend showcased the beauty of the park and the vibrant community that enjoys it. Dorchester Park appreciates the efforts of all who participated, volunteered, sponsored, or contributed to the events. It was great to see so many happy faces, including the Mayor’s, spending a beautiful day in the park.
