It’s hard to believe that our enormous amount of snow is actually melting and there will be such a thing known as warm weather arriving soon. Cabin fever will become just a bad memory as we start to enjoy all the fun of outside activities.
Snow and or no snow, the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Dorchester Park will be taking place on April 4, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Tennis Courts, so please dress appropriately. RTN Credit Union will set up a photo booth there at 9:00 AM. Volunteers are asked to be there at 8:00 AM. Anyone wishing to volunteer is invited and welcomed.
A park cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, and volunteers again are welcomed. Meet at 9:30 at the bottom of the Richview Street Stairs near the Lydia Smith bench.
Teens from Boston Cares are helping with a cleanup and planting on April 24, and their efforts are greatly appreciated by the Dorchester Park Association.
